普通免許で乗れる ISUZU ELF MIO キャンピングカーで家族旅行！
Introduction/はじめに
This time, I’d like to share our family road trip in the ISUZU ELF MIO camper van, a compact camper that can be driven with a standard Japanese driver’s license.
今回は、普通免許で運転できるキャンピングカー「ISUZU ELF MIO」で楽しんだ家族旅行をご紹介します。
Traveling by camper van gave us the freedom to explore Japan at our own pace while enjoying quality family time together.
キャンピングカー旅行は、自分たちのペースで日本を楽しみながら、家族との時間をゆっくり過ごせるのが魅力です。
Our Travel Companion/今回の旅のお供
The ISUZU ELF MIO camper van was our home on wheels for this adventure.
今回の旅のお供は、ISUZU ELF MIOキャンピングカーです。
Its compact size makes it easy to drive, even for people who are not used to driving large vehicles.
コンパクトなサイズなので、大きな車に慣れていない方でも比較的運転しやすいのが特徴です。
Moriya Service Area/守谷サービスエリア
On the way, we stopped at Moriya Service Area, one of Japan’s highway rest areas.
途中で高速道路の休憩施設「守谷サービスエリア」に立ち寄りました。
Japanese service areas are much more than simple rest stops. Many have restaurants, souvenir shops, playgrounds, and family-friendly facilities.
日本のサービスエリアは単なる休憩所ではありません。レストランやお土産店、遊び場などがあり、家族連れでも楽しめます。
There was even a kids’ play area where our children could refresh and burn off some energy before continuing the trip.
キッズスペースもあり、子どもたちは元気いっぱい遊んでリフレッシュできました。
Destination: Mobility Resort Motegi / モビリティリゾートもてぎ
We entered through the South Gate and started our adventure.
今回は南コース側から入園しました。
At the ticket office, we showed our pre-purchased tickets and received wristbands for the unlimited ride pass.
事前購入したチケットを見せて、1日パスのリストバンドを付けてもらいます。
Prices vary depending on the season.
料金はシーズンによって異なります。
Attractions We Enjoyed

・SUMIKA GIANT NET（巨大ネットの森SUMIKA）
There were so many attractions that it was impossible to experience everything in one day!
1日では回りきれないほどたくさんのアトラクションがありました。
This park is truly a paradise for children.
まさに子どもたちの楽園でした♪
Kids Bike Field/キッズバイクフィールド
Unfortunately, this attraction was only available for children who could already ride a bicycle without training wheels.
こちらは補助輪なしで自転車に乗れる子限定でした。
Our child wasn’t ready yet, so we only took photos this time.
うちの子はまだ乗れなかったので、今回は写真だけ！
Food Time/フードタイム
We grabbed some shaved ice and churros from a food truck.
キッチンカーでかき氷とチュロスを購入♪
A perfect summer snack!
夏の定番おやつです♡
For lunch, we visited GRAN TURISMO®.
ランチはGRAN TURISMO®へ。
While waiting for our food, we enjoyed the racing simulators.
料理を待つ間、レーシングシミュレーターで遊びました♪
Watching Real Racing Action/迫力満点のサーキット
Motegi Circuit features a 4.8km FIA/JAF-certified road course.
もてぎのサーキットには4.8kmのFIA/JAF公認ロードコースがあります。
On the day we visited, an amateur motorcycle race was being held.
この日はアマチュアバイクレースが開催されていました。
The speed, sound, and excitement were incredible!
スピードも音も迫力満点！
Not only the kids but also Dad was thrilled.
子どもだけでなくパパも大興奮でした！
Honda Collection Hall
One of the highlights of our trip was the Honda Collection Hall.
今回の旅で特に印象的だったのがHonda Collection Hallです。
This museum tells the story of Honda’s dreams, passion, innovation, and history.
ホンダの夢・情熱・挑戦の歴史を体感できる場所です。
We saw classic motorcycles, nostalgic cars, and many important milestones in Honda’s development.
懐かしい車やバイクなど、ホンダの歴史がたくさん展示されていました。
I was especially inspired by the story of Honda founder Soichiro Honda.
特に創業者・本田宗一郎氏の想いに感銘を受けました。
One quote stood out to me:
“May the pursuit of my own joy contribute to the happiness of others.”
「自分の喜びを追及する行為が、他人の幸福への奉仕につながるものでありたい。」
This quote deeply touched me.
私はこの言葉に強く心を動かされました。
It reminded me of my dream for Online Homestay Japanese Mama — creating a service that brings happiness and connection to people around the world.

UNI-ONE Experience / UNI-ONE体験
At the entrance, visitors can try UNI-ONE, Honda’s hands-free personal mobility device.
エントランスでは、Hondaのハンズフリーパーソナルモビリティ「UNI-ONE」を体験できます。
It was my first time trying it, and I was surprised by how easy it was to control.
初めて乗りましたが、とても簡単に操作できました！
