OHJ（オンラインホームステイ）は、世界中の人が日本の文化・言葉・日常を、まるで日本に暮らしているように体験できる場所を目指しています。
Through OHJ, I want to connect people from around the world with real Japanese life, in a warm, family-like way.
2｜私の簡単な経歴｜My Background
私は日本で子育てをしているママです。留学や、空港での勤務で海外の方との交流を通じて、「日本と海外の距離を近くしたい」という思いを持ち続けてきました。
I’m a Japanese mom who, through studying abroad and working at an airport where I met many international travelers, developed a strong wish to bring Japan and the world closer together.
3｜OHJを始めた理由｜Why I Started OHJ
日本語や日本文化を学びたい方にとって、教科書だけでは知れない「本当の日本の生活」を届けたい。
I wanted to create a place where people can learn not just the language, but also the heart of Japan.
さらに、日本に興味があってもすぐに来られない人が世界中にはたくさんいます。距離や費用、家族や仕事の事情で渡航が難しい方もいます。
There are so many people around the world who are interested in Japan but can’t visit right away — because of distance, cost, or family and work responsibilities.
そして最近は、観光地でのオーバーツーリズム（観光客過多）が問題になることもあります。私が提供する「オンラインでの日本体験」は、環境や地域の負担を減らしつつ、リアルな交流を叶える方法のひとつだと思っています。
Recently, overtourism has also become an issue in some parts of Japan. I believe online experiences can be one way to reduce that impact while still creating genuine, heart-to-heart connections.
4｜OHJを続ける理由｜Why I Keep Going
正直なところ、会員数はまだまだ少ないです。
でも、メッセージをいただくたびに「この活動は意味がある」と感じています。
Even though OHJ is still small, every single message I receive reminds me this is worth continuing.
5｜サポートを募る理由｜Why I’m Asking for Support
この活動を続けていくためには、ブログ運営費や教材制作費、オンラインイベント準備費など、色々な費用がかかります。
To keep OHJ alive and growing, I need support for website costs, materials, and events.
