: From Carrot Planting to Packaging! 🥕

My aunt is a farmer, and today, I’m going to take you through the entire process of growing delicious carrots—from planting the seeds to packaging them!

The Journey of a Carrot

August 4 – Planting the Seeds 🌱

The first step begins with carefully planting carrot seeds in the soil.

August 27 – Sprouting Begins! 🌿

Tiny green sprouts start to peek out from the ground.

October 2 – Growing Bigger! 🌱➡️🌿

The leaves begin to spread out, showing steady growth.

October 18 – Working Hard, Even on Rainy Days ☔🌱

Rain or shine, farmers continue to take care of the crops.

November 1 – Lush Green Leaves! 🍃

The carrot tops are growing thicker and stronger.

December 2 – Harvest Time! 🥕✨

Finally, it’s time to pull up the fully grown carrots!

Washing the Carrots 🚿🥕

Freshly harvested carrots are carefully washed to remove any dirt.

Packaging for Delivery 📦

To be delivered to supermarkets in Tokyo, each carrot is neatly packed in bags.

We eat carrots so often without thinking about the effort behind them, but growing vegetables takes a lot of time and care. Let’s appreciate every bite!

いよいよ収穫！

連続して収穫していると腰が痛くなってきます..

収穫したものの葉っぱを切り、集め、トラックに乗せるまで女性1人でというのは大変な作業です。

洗浄

人参を洗っていきます。手袋をしているとはいえ、寒い中、水を使うのは凍えてしまいます。

袋詰め

都内のスーパーへ納品するため、綺麗に袋詰めしていきます。

いつも当たり前に食べている人参ですが、手間がとてもかかっています。どんな野菜でも感謝しながら食べたいですね。
