1 Year of Blogging – Thank You from My Heart!
みなさん、こんにちは！
実はこの「オンラインホームステイ Japanese Mom」のブログを始めて、もうすぐ1年になります✨
最初は、誰にも読まれない日が続いて、何度も心が折れそうになったけど、それでも少しずつ記事を書き続けてきました。
ここまで続けられたのは、読んでくれているあなたのおかげです。本当にありがとうございます。
この1年で書いて公開したのが45、下書きが105
一回公開したけど、消して書き直してを繰り返してっていうのが多いんだよね。
全て合わせると150。
3日に1記事は書いていたんだよね。
届けたい気持ちはたくさんあるんだけど、なかなか難しくて。
料理のこと、子供のこと、日本文化のこと、車のこと、たっくさん書いてきました。
この1年間OHJのことで動かなかった日はないよ。
ストーリーズ、投稿、ブログ更新、ブログ原稿書き。ネタ集め。何かしらひとつでも毎日やってる。
でも、なかなか実にならない毎日です。
が、諦めません！
もし皆さんの心に余裕がありましたら、遠く離れた日本の1人のお母さんの応援をお願いします！
2年目の目標は、
ブログをもっと多くの人に読んでもらう。
OHJ チャットサービスをもっと知ってもらい、楽しんでもらう！
これからも、「日本の日常」や「子育て」「文化」「日本語」など、心がほっとするような内容をお届けしていきたいと思っています。
2年目、もっと盛り上げます！

Hi everyone!
Can you believe it? It’s been almost one year since I started my blog “Online Homestay Japanese Mom”! ✨
When I first started, no one was reading it… and honestly, I felt like giving up so many times.
But I kept writing little by little, and thanks to you—my readers—I’ve come this far. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
I’ve published 45 posts this past year, and I have 105 drafts.
There were many times when I published something, deleted it, rewrote it, and repeated that process.
In total, I’ve written around 150 posts.
That means I was writing about one post every three days.
I have so much I want to share, but getting it out there is really tough sometimes
I’ll continue to share warm, everyday moments from Japan—things about family life, Japanese culture, language, and more.
Please keep supporting me on this journey!

The day of Tanabata, when I send my wishes to the stars.
そして、今日は七夕です。
七夕は、7月7日にお祝いする日本の伝統行事！
天の川をはさんで離れている織姫と彦星が、1年に1度だけ会えるロマンチックな日なんだよ✨
みんなは願いごとを「短冊（たんざく）」っていうカラフルな紙に書いて、笹の葉に飾るの。
「背が伸びますように」とか「大好きな人と会えますように」とか、願いは自由！
お家や学校、スーパーなどでも七夕の飾りを見かけるよね。
What is Tanabata? 🌌
Tanabata is a traditional Japanese festival celebrated on July 7th.
It’s based on a romantic legend where Orihime and Hikoboshi, two stars separated by the Milky Way, can meet just once a year on this special night.
To celebrate, people write their wishes on colorful strips of paper called tanzaku, and hang them on bamboo branches.
You might see wishes like “I hope I grow taller” or “I want to meet someone I love.”
You’ll find Tanabata decorations at homes, schools, and even in stores!

“2年目Online Homestay Japanese Mama が世界中国の人と繋がり、暖かくて、楽しい場になりますように。”と。
家で子どもたちと作った七夕飾りと共に。

I wrote my wish on a tanzaku:
“May the second year of Online Homestay Japanese Mama connect more people from around the world and become a warm, joyful place.”
We made Tanabata decorations at home with the kids 🌟
