Do you know Molokhia?

I’d say it’s my absolute favorite summer vegetable – no exaggeration!

This morning, I’m introducing leftovers and a staple of Japanese breakfasts, natto!

モロヘイヤ畑みたことある？ Molokhiya farm

Do you know what molokhiya is?

My aunt is a farmer, so I help her out sometimes.

Molokhiya has a slight stickiness! It has many benefits, such as calming the central nervous system, reducing irritability and hypersensitivity, relieving stress, preventing osteoporosis, reducing swelling, improving digestion, promoting beautiful skin, and preventing aging. It’s a very nutritious vegetable!

私の叔母は農家をやっているので、手伝いをしに行きます。

モロヘイヤは、粘り気が少しあります！

中枢神経を鎮め、イライラ感や過敏症を抑える働きがあり、ストレス緩和や骨粗鬆症予防、むくみの解消、便通を良くする効果、美肌効果、老化予防など、とても栄養価が高い野菜です！

調理 recipe 

1. Boil in plenty of water for 1-2 minutes.

①たっぷりのお湯で1〜2分ほど、茹でます。

2. Cool it with water, squeeze out the excess moisture, and chop it finely to release its stickiness.

②水で冷やし、水気を絞ります。細かく切ると粘り気がでてきます。

You can store it in a container and eat it over the next three days!

タッパーに入れ、3日間くらいに分けて食べます！

納豆と一緒に食べる！ Natto

As for natto, we often eat crushed natto that costs about 100 yen for a pack of three!

It comes with sauce and mustard inside, so we mix those in.

3パック100円くらいのひきわり納豆をうちではよく食べます！

中には、たれとからしが入っているので、それを入れます！
